Part 3 of Ruben "Camp" White's Journey: April 20, 2025 - Easter Sunday
Dear Lord,
As I reflect on my journey, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for how far You have brought me. Through every challenge and triumph, I continually say, "Thank you, Jesus." I’ve come to understand that life is a tapestry woven with both struggles and joys, and every thread has shaped who I am today.
I realize now that not everything in my past was negative; there were lessons and moments of beauty that have enriched my spirit. I embrace the powerful truth that it’s never too late to reclaim the joy of a happy childhood. Each day is a new opportunity to heal, to grow, and to find happiness in the simplest of things.
With faith in my heart and hope for the future, I choose to celebrate my journey, knowing that I have the strength to create the life I desire. Today, I stand inspired and ready to embrace all the possibilities that lie ahead.
Poem:
I Am Rising by Ruben White
In the depths of my being, a voice does arise,
A whisper, a thunder, beneath endless skies.
I am the essence, the truth of my name,
The I Am within, forever aflame.
I am the river, fierce and unbound,
Flowing through valleys where hope can be found.
With every struggle, I carve out my way,
Turning the darkness into the day.
I am the mountain, unyielding and strong,
A testament to those who’ve waited so long.
With roots deep in history, I stand with pride,
A guardian of dreams, where courage resides.
I am the fire, igniting the night,
A spark of resilience, a beacon of light.
I dance through the shadows, unafraid of the fall,
For I am the I Am, answering the call.
I am the wind, sweeping through trees,
Carrying whispers of hope on the breeze.
With every breath, I rise and I soar,
A symphony of strength, forever wanting more.
I am the song, echoing through time,
A melody woven in rhythm and rhyme.
With every note, I claim my own space,
In the chorus of life, I find my grace.
So hear me, world, as I take my stand,
With the power of love, I’ll reach out my hand.
In the tapestry woven of struggle and strife,
I am, I am, the anthem of life.
