The Tapestry of Dreams (Mental Health Poetry)
The Tapestry of Dreams by Ruben White
In the loom of life, where threads intertwine, A blissful moment waits, yours and mine. Dreams, like silk, soft yet strong, Weave patterns of hope all day long. When storm clouds gather, obscuring the light, Remember, dear heart, stars still burn bright. Fear is a thief, stealing joy's gleam, But faith is the lock on hope's regime. Grasp tight the rope of your deepest desire, It will pull you through mud and mire. Tomorrow's dawn, a blank canvas vast, Ready for strokes that will make beauty last. Gray skies may loom, a leaden shroud, But your spirit's sun can pierce any cloud. Don't let your dreams become ghosts of the past, In the theater of life, you're cast for the last act. Your gift, a seed in fertile ground, Will bloom when least expected, profound. Perseverance, the water that makes it grow, Patience, the light that makes it glow. So lift once more your weary head, Drink deep from courage's fountain instead. For in this blissful moment, crystal clear, You'll find the strength to persevere. Dreams are the stars we navigate by, Guiding us on when others say goodbye. In the tapestry of life, vibrant and true, The most brilliant thread will always be you.
